Abdul is the founder and director of Homebase Psychotherapy Ltd. He is a senior CBT therapist and a supervisor within Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services in the NHS.
Abdul is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Chester where he lectures nursing and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Abdul has more than 20 years of experience in health care, with experience including general nursing, mental health nursing and early intervention in psychosis in the community.

Abdul has extensive experience of and success in treating depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorders, generalised anxiety disorder with worry, specific phobias, social anxiety disorder, performance related anxiety disorder, panic disorder, health anxiety disorder, stress management, gambling addiction, impulse control disorder, hoarding disorder, and low self esteem.
In addition to working with individuals, Abdul also enjoys teaching and providing high-quality clinical supervision to both high-intensity and low-intensity CBT therapists.
